Oh Rose Wine…

Rosé wine is made from red grapes. Sometimes combined with white grapes. The wine gets its color because the skins of red grapes less time in the juice (the juice) remain in the preparation of red wine. During the traditional winemaking, the grapes crushed and the skins begin to dye their juice issue. Once the winemaker is happy with the shade the grapes are gently pressed and the juice and skins are separated. Then the fermentation continues. The longer the peel and juice contact, the darker the color and the stronger the taste of the pink. The limited amount of tannin in pink makes it fresh, bright and yet with certain strength can be drunk.

It is usually forbidden to make a pink wine from red and white wine mix. This may well reflect the color pink, but never the fruity, fresh fragility that is so characteristic of Rose Wine. Within the European Union only in Champagne red wine and white wine mixed to make a rosé champagne out of it.
